The walnut tree is one of those valuable plants, every part of which is used. Not only its fruit and wood are useful, but also its leaves. Its infusion is used externally as a compress for skin rashes, boils, and frostbite, as a sitz bath for hemorrhoids, and as a gargle for sore throats. Baths are also made from walnut leaves for skin rashes. It is also recommended as a poultice for eye inflammation and cataract formation. Its tea is drunk for gastroenteritis, high blood pressure, intestinal worms, and as a blood purifier and appetite enhancer.
