ACC 600 long effervescent tablets are suitable for dissolving thick, viscous secretions in the respiratory tract. They are recommended for the liquefaction therapy of respiratory diseases accompanied by the production of highly viscous mucus and a runny cough.
1. What type of medicine is ACC 600 mg effervescent tablets and what diseases can it be used for?
ACC long 600 mg effervescent tablets, whose active ingredient is acetylcysteine, are suitable for the adjunctive treatment of respiratory diseases accompanied by increased viscous mucus secretion, such as acute and chronic bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchiectasis, pneumonia.
Suitable for the adjunctive treatment of diseases accompanied by increased mucus production in adults and adolescents over 14 years of age (e.g. chronic sinusitis, otitis media, catarrhal colds, cystic fibrosis (an inherited disorder with a disorder of the exocrine glands).
Consult your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen.
2. What you need to know before you take ACC 600 mg effervescent tablets
Do not take ACC long 600 mg effervescent tablets
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to acetylcysteine or any of the other ingredients of ACC long 600 mg effervescent tablets ;
- it should not be used to treat children under 14 years of age ; - it is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding
; - it should not be used in cases of certain carbohydrate metabolism disorders (e.g. lactase and galactose malabsorption, glucose and galactose malabsorption) because the effervescent tablets contain lactose monohydrate. If your doctor has previously warned you that you (or your child) are sensitive to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine!
3. How to use ACC 600 mg effervescent tablets?
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure about the dosage, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
ACC long 600 mg effervescent tablets should be taken after a meal.
The effervescent tablet should be drunk shortly after dissolving in a glass of water.
In exceptional cases, due to the stabilizing effect of ascorbic acid (vitamin C), the ready-to-drink solution can be left to stand for about 2 hours, possibly in warm liquid.
Abundant fluid intake helps the expectorant effect of acetylcysteine.
It is not recommended to dissolve acetylcysteine-containing preparations in the same solution with other medicines.
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dosage is:
Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age: 1 x 1 ACC long 600 mg effervescent tablet daily.
It can only be used for a longer period of time under the direction of a doctor, in the dose and for the duration prescribed by the doctor!
